Burek with cheese in English

Burek with cheese

Burek is a very thin cake. So thin that they are transparent, rolled loosely with the filling. Subsequent layers of dough are greased, thanks to which the finished dough leaves nicely and is crispy. Burek comes in different shapes, depending on how it is wrapped.

Ingredients: -200g feta cheese -200g cottage cheese -200g creamy goat cheese -100g grated Parmesan cheese -1 packet of phyllo dough -1/2 cup olive oil

Execution: Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Meanwhile, use a fork to mix all the cheeses together (you can add herbs!). Place the first sheet of phyllo dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush with olive oil. Then another one and lubricate as well. Put 3-4 sheets of dough on the bottom, each spread with olive oil, and put the cheese stuffing on top.

Spread it to a thickness of 1-1.5 centimeters and cover with another sheet of phyllo dough, which we brush with olive oil. Top with 3-4 sheets of dough, brush each, including the top ones, thoroughly with olive oil. Wrap the protruding edges of the dough underneath.
Bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
